Community outreach

The students at SSVAP get an opportunity to reach out to the communities in the nearby villages to learn about their social and economic problems. This program is organized by the Service-Learning Department of SIU, where students are assigned different kinds of projects. The programme has vastly spread its reach to the areas of forest conservation and promotion of public healthcare and education.

This module is a mandatory learning experience added along with the coursework. Not only does this provide an understanding about the society but it also allows our students to document and showcase their work in front of the common people for raising social awareness. All our students are required to complete 120 hours under the Service-Learning Programme.
