PROFILE

With over 25 years of experience in product and tabletop photography, Girish Sonalkar has been a dedicated faculty member for more than two decades. He served as an Assistant Professor of Photography at Symbiosis School of Photography (2011-2022), specializing in architecture, interior, travel, landscape, automobile, product, and food photography. Currently, they work as a Visiting Faculty and Examination Jury at MIT and SSVAP (since Nov. 2022). His career includes leadership roles at B.D. Somani and R Institute, along with extensive industry experience as a photography assistant, studio manager, and educator in Mumbai.
